Teacher Jaque
A WordPress one-pager — designed and developed by me end to end — for Jaqueline Guedes, an English teacher, built to present her classes and turn visits into a WhatsApp message or a form submission.

01 ·Context
Where the project came from
Jaqueline Guedes — Teacher Jaque — is a Cambridge-certified English teacher with more than seven years of experience and students in Brazil and abroad. Before this project she had no site of her own: her offer lived on social media and word of mouth, with no stable place to see who she is, what she teaches and how to start.
She asked me to design and build the site from scratch, in WordPress. The brief was not a campus or a blog: a single page that gathered the pitch, the class types, her bio and a clear path to book a trial lesson.
02 ·Challenge
What had to be solved
The challenge was to build a digital presence that felt like hers — not an academy template — and that worked as well for an adult looking for business English as for a parent looking for classes for their child: on one screen, with a contact path that does not get lost.
Constraint
A single developer covering design and WordPress.

Start from the logo the client already had: the brand colors, not an invented palette.

A one-pager: the whole story has to fit in one scroll; there is no ten-section site to hide a weak design.
03 ·Solution
What I built, and why that way
I built a WordPress one-pager, designed from scratch. I took the logo colors and turned them into a glassmorphism language: course cards, testimonials and the contact block read as glass pieces on a dark background, not as a generic language-school theme.
- Six class types visible at a glance: conversation, business, travel, children and teens, groups and pairs, and one-to-one.
- The site in Portuguese, Spanish and English, because her students are in Brazil and also abroad.
- WhatsApp and a contact form on the same page, with a call to book a trial lesson.
- WordPress so she can update copy, courses and testimonials without touching code.
04 ·Result
What changed afterwards
The site is now her digital storefront: anyone who lands there sees who she is, what she teaches, and can write to her without leaving the page.
